Polite staff, service Location
Rooms at the back are very noisy
Staff were very friendly, helpful and accomodating. Lounge area was very cosy with the fireplace.
Rooms were very basic, not suitable for a 4 star hotel really, clean but very simple
Reception and shared facilities were nice, but hotel was very small and made an old fashioned impression. Use of wireless internet expensive
I like the convenient location of the hotel, it suits when visiting our daughter at the University
Lack of parking facilties close by. I do not use valet parking services.
Great city centre location, lovely old building, beautifully renovated. The staff were all very friendly. The hotel offers valet parking for a fee of approx €19 per day. The restaurant is very good, at the higher end of the price scale however the set meal looks like good value.
The room was fine, except the double bed was a little small for such a nice hotel.
For the most part good service and large rooms. Great location in the center of the Old Town of Gronigan. Very comfortable.
I would stay there again.
It is an excellent hotel at a good location, except for ...
It is really ridiculous that WIFI is free in the lobby and that you have to pay for it in your room. Please change this policy NH hotels!!!
gentle, correct and quick service, personnel smile on their face
A great location in the pedestrian precinct and an ecclectic mix of modern design and old world charm. Very generous sized rooms ...with a mid century feel.
The location of the hotel is good.
We found a number of bugs in our baby's bed. When we complained to the staff the next morning the only thing they could come up with was that this was unfortunate and immediately asked us if everything else was ok. Well no, bugs in our baby's bed is enough to ruin our night.
Location close to center and Market Place. Lounge and small patio.
Quite expensive for the comfort and service, both room and breakfast. Bathrooms should be renovated (rooms 301 to 305 at least) as access to shower in the bathtube is not easy and convenient. Noise from one bathroom to another, could hear the neighbour taking shower at midnight. Rooms offer the comfort, but minimum : no facility to make tea and coffee are provided (even in superior rooms), no complementary water, no body milk, .... During warm days, rooms looking over the patio can benefit from the noise of people talking and smoking till around midnight.
Have stayed before and it is ideal for us
No tea or coffee in the rooms
The location in Groninen was excellent as it is situated right in the centre. The breakfast was very good and the staff were so helpful. The hotel lobby and lounge are also very comfortable and inviting.
Our beds were not very comfortable as they were 2 single beds pushed together - so not really a double bed. There was no tea/coffeee making facilities in the room, which after a cold day wandering around would have been a very nice to be able to make a hot cup of tea independently.
nicely recently renovated hotel, nice bar/sitting area. Location is perfectly central
the location was very good, in the center of Groningen. Nice small hotel with old accents at the entrance, reception and salon. Furnitureof the room nice, great big rainshower.
The bed was not very comfortable. We asked for a double bed, that was oke, although a very small size (1.40m large) also the firmness, but the worse thing was the plastic cover on the matrass which previded the matrass of letting air through so it made me sweat a lot and I woke up every two hours or so. Not a good nigh trest I should say. probably it's done for keeping the matrass clean for a longer time, but the comfort is gone.
